…for service

Ermmm, did you get my invite? Which one? The bb office group invite? Oh, that one, yes i did. Why didn’t you accept? Well, when the office starts paying for my bb service, i will consider accepting. Go jooo….

Hey, what just happened there? Don’t mind my oga (no.2), he was asking why i didn’t accept the bb office group invite he sent me. Why didn’t you? Does the office pay for my bb service? Wait, so, what did you tell him? The truth. What? That when the office starts paying for my bb service, i will consider accepting.

You are just a trouble maker. Haha, shey you know i deleted my ogas (no.1 & 2) from my bb? Oga (no.2) accosted me someday and said he couldn’t find me on his list. I accepted him again. Why did you delete them in the first place? Why should my oga be chatting with me on bb?

***short of which, bb (various ridiculous message broadcasts) subtly denies many the luxury of being privately stupid.

  1. I completely feel you!!! I wouldn’t have any bosses on my BB. In fact I deleted everyone from work from facebook. It was kinda frosty for a bit but they will have to get over it!

  2. I concur! lol…once you have your boss on your bb…that’s the beginning of the end!
What if you want to throw a mini tantrum on your bb? no space for that again…plus you will now be closely monitored than ever before! heeheehee!

  3. Rethots i loaf you jare. In Nigeria, we blurr the line too often between the personal and the job. Calls after work, etc etc.

  4. Lol.

  5. Bosses on BB? No way.. Unless they are picking up every bill associated with funding it…

  6. sycophancy uh?

its like adding your boss on facebook…not a good idea!

  7. Ha!
Lai Lai. Please all office activities begin and end within the office. Why on earth should my boss be on my personal BB. Hisss. And office group, what’s that???? Hiss x2

  10. hehe…definatly no oga’s in private space…not needed …shouldnt be there…h

  11. I think it will make for uncomfortable relations. Isn’t BB supposed to be personal?

  12. I’m so with you. Wetin ‘consain’ my oga with my bb or fb. My work people are not my fb friends o. Only may colleagues are on bbm. But no ogas please. Lol.

There are some things I say about my job that it won’t be healthy for them to see.

  13. I concur! lol…once you have your boss on your bb…that’s the beginning of the end!
What if you want to throw a mini tantrum on your bb? no space for that again…plus you will now be closely monitored than ever before! heeheehee!

    +1

  14. Not just BB oh, Facebook and Twitter too! Office business remains in outlook! If you want to gist (why should you sef?) please call me!

  15. Thank you!! Thank you so much, jare!!! When they do not pay for my B.I.S. I have all their numbers so if there is anything important, I call them and I expect them to do same.

P.S: Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  16. The thing tire us oh. There should be clearly defined limits between work and your personal life. If they want to be on your list, abeg start paying for BIS too. Shikena

  17. lolll.my boss is on my bb list and it aint funny oooo..i cant post what i want(not like i say anything bad)but sometimes i just want to say(my boss is a goat)lol…now i cant

  18. Finally I find it. Been wondering how in earth to get to this famous blog.
Rightly said jare… My bb, is my bb, not one office person is on it and it will stay that way///

  19. Business and personal….way too close for comfort. A sure formula for disaster

  20. LOL @ why should u be chatting with oga on bb..
LOL abi we should have the freedom to be privately stupid jare..its enough we see them on the job.. Work shouldnt be brought home..
    Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  21. The closing line did it for me.

  22. Hahaha, i detest black berries! Mainly because it makes it hard to separate work from other things and in my industry it will be working your self to the grave! I would never add my boss to any of my social networking sites let alone bb list(the best part is i don’t own one)

  23. Emi omo! i deleted my boss from my bb two days after i added him. woraheck!! where’s the privacy?? No FB adds, No one in my office has my twitter handle..only a few colleagues have me on bb…with strict orders sef. shikena

  24. Howdy would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a
tough time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.

The reason I ask is because your design seems different tthen most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S Apologies for getting off-topic butt I had to ask!

  25. Wow to have the “liver” to actually utter those words. Thumbs up, i dont think i could ever. But your response was apt. Why expect more than you pay for?

    • Well, i was young and quietly radical so, twas not difficult to utter the words. Then again, tis little things little that we allow to pass without challenging that makes bosses over indulge. However, with a little more age on my side now, i would have passed my message a little more diplomatically succinctly with a distinct issue i desire to use the situation to address.

  26. I could nt agree more…office familiarity should end in the office biko. Cant one be free for once?

  27. Funny how I just read this post and was about to leave a comment, only to realize I already left that comment some five years ago. Lol! Some things never change. How you dey?

  28. Hey…you okay?
